MycoView - Solutions for urogenital mycoplasma diagnosis
MycoView - Solutions for urogenital mycoplasma diagnosis
Test-kit enables the identification and differential titration of some species of urogenital mycoplasmas from different urogenital specimens:
Ureaplasma spp. (U. urealyticum and U. parvum)
Mycoplasma hominis
The test includes a resistance test to 9 antimicrobial drugs antimicrobial susceptibility or test to 5 antimicrobial drugs according to CLSI (Clinical and Laboratory Standard Institute / USA).
ADVANTAGES:
All-in-one : detection, identification, enumeration and sensitivity/ resistance test
All required materials provided : swabs, parafin oil, holder for vials & incubation rack for strips & pipette tips.
Optional reading & interpretation with A8 Reader 2 available alternatives for antibiotics panel : classical or CLSI recommendations
Report ticket
Visualisation of the growth by colour change.
Easy interpretation.
Reliable & accurate.
PRINCIPLE: MycoView test is based on specific metabolic properties and natural resistance of each mycoplasma specie;
Ureaplasma spp. -
Hydrolysis of urea and resistance to lincomycin
Mycoplasma hominis -
Hydrolysis of arginine and resistance to erythromycin.
The growth of the two species is visualized by a change in the colour of pH indicator from yellow-orange to red or pink.
